Job Description:

Role Summary:

The Clinical Program Specialist reports to the Director of Clinical Services and is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and optimizing strategic clinical programs across the OneOncology network. This role translates strategic priorities into actionable project plans and ensures initiatives are executed efficiently across practices. Working closely with physicians, clinical subject matter experts, operational leaders, analytics, information technology, revenue cycle, compliance, marketing, and vendor partners, the Clinical Program Specialist drives enterprise-wide implementation of clinical services. The position functions as the operational lead for assigned initiatives by managing day-to-day execution, maintaining project governance, coordinating stakeholders, tracking milestones, facilitating communication, monitoring key performance indicators, and ensuring accountability for deliverables. The Clinical Program Specialist plays a critical role in launching, scaling, and continuously improving innovative clinical programs that enhance patient care, practice performance, and organizational growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day execution of the Clinical Services project portfolio.
  • Develop project charters, implementation plans, timelines, communication plans, governance documents, and project dashboards.
  • Coordinate enterprise initiatives across multiple clinical service lines
  • Serve as the primary project coordinator between practices, internal departments, executive leadership, vendors, and external partners.
  • Monitor project tasks, monitor completion, follow up with stakeholders, and promote accountability for commitments and deadlines.
  • Maintain project plans, action logs, issue trackers, decision logs, and implementation checklists.
  • Identify project risks, barriers, dependencies, and resource needs while proactively developing mitigation strategies.
  • Manage project materials such as SOPs, playbooks, implementation toolkits, educational resources, and best practice documentation.
  • Coordinate vendor onboarding, implementation, workflow integration, and operational readiness.
  • Perform additional duties and strategic projects as assigned.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.

Required or Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in healthcare operations, clinical program management, project management, or clinical services.
  • Demonstrated success by coordinating enterprise or multi-site healthcare initiatives.
  • Experience developing project plans, tracking milestones, managing risks, and driving execution.
  • Experience with process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; experience Monday.com, or similar platforms preferred.
  • Preferred: Oncology, physician practice, MSO, or value-based care experience.
  • Preferred: PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent certification.
