DESCRIPTION OF WORK
The Heartland Family Service Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program is an evidence-based approach to comprehensive, community-based treatment for persons with serious mental illness. The ACT advantage is that interdisciplinary mental health clinicians are organized as an accountable mental health team that functions in a coordinated manner to provide treatment, rehabilitation, and support services, so that persons with serious mental illnesses can live successfully in the community. The Team Leader provides oversight for the team including day to day functioning, clinical supervision, and leads the team in providing high quality care for individuals with serious mental illness. This position splits their time between administrative duties and direct clinical work.
Professionals at this level are highly experienced and well known in the community and have experience working with adults with serious mental illness. Specific project, program or office responsibilities may occur at this level. Training in supervision and management is encouraged.
Compensation: between $58,000 and $73,376 per year (salary is based on total years of relevant experience)
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week
