About the role

Reporting to the Business Manager, the Clinical Product Lead is responsible for driving the commercial success and strategic growth of a specialised medical device portfolio.

This role combines category leadership with hands-on customer engagement and is ideally suited to an experienced medical sales professional who can balance strategic planning, supplier management, and clinical support responsibilities. Working closely with healthcare professionals, procurement stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams, you will play a key role in delivering sustainable business growth while providing exceptional customer support and clinical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute business plans to drive revenue growth and increase market penetration within the assigned therapeutic area.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, clinicians, hospital procurement teams, and other key stakeholders.
• Manage supplier relationships, including business planning, performance reviews, and commercial negotiations.
• Identify and assess market opportunities, competitor activity, and emerging industry trends.
• Provide clinical and technical support across the product portfolio, including attendance at surgical procedures when required.
• Deliver product training and educational support to healthcare professionals and internal teams.
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, customer service, and operations teams to achieve business objectives.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, reporting, and CRM records.
• Support effective inventory management and ensure compliance with company consignment processes.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Significant experience in medical device or healthcare sales.
• A proven track record of achieving commercial success within hospital and clinical environments.
• Experience developing strong relationships with surgeons, clinicians, and hospital stakeholders.
• Strong clinical aptitude and the ability to confidently discuss products and procedures within a healthcare setting.
• Well-developed commercial, strategic planning, and analytical skills.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• The ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively as part of a collaborative team.

Experience managing product portfolios, therapeutic categories, or supplier relationships will be highly regarded.

You will be provided with a competitive base salary, including a bonus based on deliverables, a car allowance and fuel card, and medical insurance.
