Organization:
SSC-Sutter Senior CareProvides quality direct patient care and assists in the coordination of department services. Patient care may include evaluating, treating, care management, referral coordination and follow-up with specialists, and health education. This role provides training to medical staff and instructs and counsels patients.
EDUCATION:
Doctorate: Graduate of an accredited medical school
Successful completion of a medical residency program.
Successful completion of a medical internship program.
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
8 years recent relevant experience.
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
MD-Doctor of Medicine
OR DO-Doctor of Osteopathy of California
CSRC-Controlled Substance Registered Certification (DEA)
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider, if required by entity
Board eligible or Board certified in area of specialty
ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support
NRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Provider
DEPARTMENT REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
Department: Emergency Department, PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Department: Pediatrics, PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support
Department, SCH OBGYN: NRP-Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (not required at SCH for other departments)

Pay Range is $2,080.00 to $1,040,000.00 / annual salary
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
