The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) is an integral member of the multidisciplinary care team at Riley Children’s Hospital. This role provides advanced pharmaceutical care to critically ill neonates, infants, children and adolescents with complex cardiovascular disease states and congenital heart disease, through direct patient care, clinical decision-making, education, and quality improvement initiatives.
The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist functions as a subject matter expert in cardiovascular and critical care pharmacotherapy, ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based medication use while supporting the hospital’s mission of delivering exceptional pediatric care.
A PGY2 or equivalent experience is required to be considered for this position.
