
Clinical Pharmacy Specialist - Ambulatory Care TelePrEP 75%-(26001712)
This 75% pharmacist position will support the TelePrEP program, a public health-partnered telehealth model for HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) delivery, and other populations as assigned. The position works under a collaborative practice protocol to provide assessment and monitoring services related to HIV treatment and prevention, PrEP, sexually transmitted infections, and sexual health. It provides clinical support, education, coordination of dispensing, and monitoring for patients receiving specialty medications through UIHC Specialty Pharmacy Services. It also serves as a role-model/practitioner-educator for Doctor of Pharmacy students, pharmacy residents, and medical learners and carries out clinical practice responsibilities for the Department of Pharmaceutical Care. This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings.
Position Responsibilities:
Patient Care - Participate in the provision of pharmaceutical care
Participate in recruiting activities for pharmacy residency programs
Provide daily communication and follow-up to other clinical pharmacists, pharmacy areas, and other health care professionals as needed.
