Position Purpose

Responsible for providing leadership, oversight, alignment, and standardization for assigned Clinical Pharmacy region/business line. Implements strategic and operational initiatives including new services/programs, revenue enhancement, expense reduction, managed care utilization systems, and strategies. Responsible for Clinical Pharmacy operations and managing and leading professional and/or frontline staff, and/or supervisors

What you will do

• Partner with executive leaders, medical staff, and healthcare team to develop strategy, goals, objectives, and operational standards to ensure services and priority alignment
• Partner with executive leaders, medical staff, and healthcare team to develop strategy, goals, objectives, and operational standards to ensure services and priority alignment
• Collaborate in identifying analytics and metrics to demonstrate baseline and performance improvement targets
• Manage medication safety measures and efficient integration of Clinical Pharmacy services into operational processes
• Responsible for identifying and implementing Clinical Pharmacy programs, and drug use improvement initiatives
• Manage training, education, coaching, and assessment of pharmacist competencies

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy- PharmD, MBA preferred
• Five (5) years of pharmacist experience including three (3) years of pharmacy management responsibilities
• CT and MA Pharmacist licenses or the ability to obtain state licensure in practice/employment within 120 days of hire.
• Proven leadership skills in relationship to motivating and empowering staff
