Presbyterian Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and collaborative Behavioral Health Clinical Pharmacist to join our growing pharmacy team. This is an exciting opportunity to help establish and shape a new behavioral health pharmacy service while working alongside an interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes for patients with mental health and substance use disorders.

As a key clinical resource, you will provide direct patient care, medication optimization, staff education, and quality improvement support across behavioral health services. The ideal candidate is passionate about psychiatric pharmacy, enjoys collaborating with physicians and care teams, and is eager to help develop innovative clinical services.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

  • Education: 4 Year/Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy, required. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) Certification. PharmD, preferred.
  • Experience: Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship OR two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy. Oncology experience preferred for oncology roles, required. ASHP accredited PGY2 Infectious disease residency OR 2 years of equivalent clinical pharmacy experience in infectious diseases/antimicrobial stewardship, required.
  • Licensure/Certification:
  • Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s) or must be completed within 30 days of start date by either examination or reciprocity, required.
  • Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification or other approved certification must be obtained and continuously maintained within 2 years of start date as applicable to the role; excludes PRN team members who may not be eligible to take certification exam, required.
  • Additional skills required: Other duties as outlined in Novant Health and facility specific policies and procedures. Ability to drive/travel to multiple facilities/locations as needed. Ability to work as part of a high performing, change ready and resilient team.
