The Clinical Pharmacist – Inpatient role is based at Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital where the caregiver works as a decentralized pharmacist primarily supporting the Internal Medicine service line. In this role, the pharmacist collaborates closely with providers, nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, leadership, and other members of the patient care team to optimize medication therapy and support safe, effective patient care. Responsibilities include participating in multidisciplinary rounds, providing medication management support for hospitalized patients, and contributing to clinical decision-making within the Internal Medicine units. The caregiver may also assist with centralized pharmacy operations as needed, ensuring continuity of pharmacy services and medication distribution across the hospital.
This is a PRN role. A caregiver in this position works varying shifts predominately during the day. Requirements include 1 holiday per year and every 5th weekend.
