Schedule: Full-Time • Mixed Shifts (6:00 AM–4:30 PM & 9:30 AM–8:00 PM)
Pay: $58.15 – $73.56/hr (DOE; ~10 yrs ≈ $66.88/hr)
Shift Differentials: Evenings +$3.00/hr • Nights +$6.00/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (paid in 5 installments over 2 years)

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join a high-acuity inpatient pharmacy team serving ED, ICU, NICU/PICU, oncology, cardiac, surgical, and general medical populations. This role combines direct clinical services with operational responsibilities that support safe, evidence-based medication use across the hospital.
You’ll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, manage therapeutic regimens, supervise pharmacy technicians, and contribute to medication safety and quality initiatives.
Review and verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and clinical appropriateness
Compound and dispense medications following USP, state, and facility standards
Evaluate therapies for allergies, contraindications, interactions, and dosing accuracy
Provide pharmacokinetics monitoring, anticoagulation management, TPN/nutrition support
Perform renal/hepatic dose adjustments and IV-to-PO conversions
Support pain and antimicrobial stewardship initiatives
Document clinical interventions and recommendations
Participate in medication error and ADR reporting
Support audits, policy development, and performance improvement activities
Provide real-time medication information to physicians, nurses, and patients
Participate in clinical rounds and interdisciplinary communication
Precept interns/students and mentor technical staff
Oversee pharmacy technicians and support efficient central pharmacy workflows
Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and accreditation standards
BS Pharmacy or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited program
Active Florida Pharmacist license in good standing
Recent inpatient acute care experience (within the last 12 months):
PGY-1 Residency OR
≥1 year hospital pharmacist experience
New grads with strong inpatient hospital rotations who meet recency requirements
Prior HCA or high-acuity hospital experience
Base Pay: $58.15–$73.56/hr depending on experience
Differentials:
Evenings: +$3.00/hr
Nights: +$6.00/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 total (paid at start, 6, 12, 18, and 24 months)
