Location: Forsyth Medical Center

Schedule: Rotating 1st (0700-1530) / 2nd (1230-2100) shift - 2 weeks of 1st, 1 week of 2nd and every 3rd weekend

Your Role:

As a Clinical Pharmacist, you’ll be at the forefront of patient care—providing expert medication management, collaborating with physicians, and driving clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pharmaceutical care in accordance with evidence-based practices

• Monitor drug therapies for safety and effectiveness

• Educate patients and healthcare professionals

• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Education 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required. Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) Certification.
  • PharmD, preferred.
• Experience Postgraduate year 1 residency or fellowship OR two years of experience as a registered pharmacist in health system pharmacy. Oncology experience preferred for oncology roles, required.
  • For Infectious Diseases/Antimicrobial Stewardship roles: ASHP - accredited PGY2 Infectious Disease residency OR minimum of 2 years of equivalent clinical pharmacy experience in infectious diseases/antimicrobial stewardship, required.
• Licensure/Certification: Current Pharmacy licensure in appropriate state(s) or must be completed within 30 days of start date by either examination or reciprocity, required.
  • Board of Pharmacy Specialties Certification or other approved certification must be obtained and continuously maintained within 2 years of start date as applicable to the role, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Other duties as outlined in Novant Health and facility specific policies and procedures. Ability to drive/travel to multiple facilities/locations as needed. Ability to work as part of a high performing, change ready and resilient team.
