Position: Clinical Pharmacist
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our client's team in Tripoli, Libya. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring safe and effective use of medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct medication reviews and provide drug therapy recommendations to healthcare providers
Monitor patient medication regimens and make necessary adjustments to ensure safe and effective use of medications
Educate patients and their families on proper medication use and potential side effects
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
Maintain accurate and complete patient records
Participate in medication reconciliation and medication error prevention initiatives
Stay updated on new medications, treatments, and developments in the field of pharmacy
Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in the practice of pharmacy
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree
Valid pharmacist license
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a clinical pharmacist
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical care principles and practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Proficient in computer skills and electronic medical record systems
Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken)
