About OCD Anxiety Centers

OCD Anxiety Centers provides specialized, evidence-based treatment for anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and related disorders for children (ages 8 and up), adolescents, and adults.

Our program offers Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) levels of care, as well as a Virtual IOP option. Treatment is grounded in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and is complemented by ACT, DBT, and thoughtfully selected CBT interventions. Clients can expect ERP in a group setting, where they work on their exposures in a supportive and collaborative environment.

OCD Anxiety Centers was founded by Paul Peterson after his own family experienced the challenges of both anxiety and OCD. The organization has treated more than 6,000 clients and continuously refines care through data-informed practice, tracking outcomes weekly.

Clients typically experience life-changing symptom reduction. In collaboration with University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, research found that 79% of OCD clients who completed OCD Anxiety Centers' IOP experienced so much symptom reduction that they were considered recovered by the end of the program.
