The Clinical Outreach Representative-Eating Disorders is responsible for increasing awareness of Center for Discovery’s eating disorder continuum of care throughout an assigned territory. This role develops trusted relationships with referral partners, educates healthcare professionals on evidence-based eating disorder treatment, supports appropriate patient placement, and serves as a clinical resource to providers and community organizations. The representative collaborates closely with admissions, operations, and clinical leadership to ensure continuity of care while supporting organizational growth.
Essential Job Functions:
• Assist in the creation and execution of the regional strategic outreach plan. The goals of these plans are as follows:
◦ Grow qualified referral relationships.
◦ Increase awareness of Center for Discovery’s eating disorder services.
◦ Deliver educational presentations.
◦ Meet territory growth expectations.
◦ Increase referrals and admissions for continued company growth.
• Develop, expand, and maintain referral relationships amongst various referral sources. These relationships should include but are not limited to:
◦ Hospitals and medical practices.
◦ Other treatment programs and private practice professionals such as therapists, dieticians, and psychiatrists.
◦ Other professionals and organizations deemed an appropriate target for eating disorder outreach.
• Performance Expectation
◦ Maintain activity levels equating to 80 1:1s per month and 3 events per month or at least 58 in-person meetings per month or as assigned by the Director of eating disorder outreach.
◦ Contribute a minimum of 6 - 8 admissions per month.

• Maintain Sales Force database and activity record by accurately adding new contacts and keeping activities and events logged at all times.
• Administrative support
◦ Complete end of month reports in a timely manner: mileage reports, credit card reports, end of month reporting, and other reports identified by Director of Eating Disorder Outreach.
◦ Assess and constructively contribute to the development of marketing collateral.
◦ Assist Director of Eating Disorder Outreach in identifying new opportunities for marketing efforts: direct mail, online, and community based.
• Communication
◦ Facilitate and support communication between outreach and admissions, clinical staff, and management.
◦ Facilitate and support communication between referral sources and admissions, clinical staff, and throughout Discovery Behavioral Health as a whole.
Knowledge, Education, Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university.
• Clinical degree preferred.
• Experience in eating disorders, behavioral health, or healthcare provider relations.
• Understanding of eating disorder diagnosis and treatment.
• Existing relationships with behavioral health referral sources preferred.

Employment Status: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday (flexibility after hours and weekends as needed)
Work Location: Remote (must be local to the Chicago, IL area.)
Compensation: Pay Range: $95,000 - 110,000/annually
