Khan University Hospital invites applications for the position of Registered
Nurse, Intpatient Care Areas

Nurses are responsible to provide exceptional
patient care in an environment where quality, respect, caring and compassion
are at the center of all they do. To provide professional nursing skills in
assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care for assigned
patients.

Promotes and restores patients' health by completing
the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team
members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and
families; supervising assigned team members. You will report to the Head Nurse/
Assistant Head Nurse.

• Prepare
  rooms prior clinic starts assembling all supplies required for the particular
  session.
• Assists
  doctor’s while performing procedures and examination.
• Conduct
  clinics independently, sent swabs for culture and report surgical wound infections
  to infection control after coordination (Surgical Clinic).
• Raises
  request slips for (supplies, pharmacy, CSSD and Medical/ Surgical) and receives
  CSSD and pharmacy items.
• Guides
  all surgical GA patients to pre-op clinic.
• Documents
  entries of immunization in the computer as assigned.
• Complete
  surgical checklist 1br CA patients for Day Care.
• Able
  to monitor and interpret heart rhythm and I2 lead ECC notify any abnormality to
  physician & take action.

You must have;

• Matric/ Intermediate (Science) and Graduate (Diploma/ BScN) from renowned Institute
• PNC license (validity up to 6 months at least)
• Certified in ACLS/ BLS, Safe medication Administration, Intravenous Cannulation and Conscious Sedation (as applicable)
• Prefer experience of 2-3 years from a well establish organization as Registered Nurse.
• Communicate with the patients and their family members and listed to their concerns with patience.
• Do long standing, walking, bending, kneeling and stooping all day.
• To lift or move patients frequently or as per the instruction from physician.
• Nursing is a full-time position in a health care facility open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
• Rotating shifts as well as holiday and work during inclement weather will be required.
