Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse to join our Orthopaedics team at Greenslopes Private Hospital

This position is an advanced-level Registered Nurse role, acting as a clinical resource in all aspects of patient care while supporting problem-solving within the department. You will play a key role in educating clinical staff through orientation, in-service sessions and ongoing development programs, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the hospital.

You will deliver advanced clinical care, support theatre operations, and provide expertise to the wider surgical team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering specialised, high-quality patient care.
  • Overseeing elective and trauma orthopaedic surgery
  • Supporting a positive, collaborative and professional team culture.
  • Providing guidance, mentorship and clinical expertise to staff.
  • Contributing to continuous quality and process improvement.

About You

You will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Extensive experience in orthopaedic nursing.
  • Strong leadership, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and time-management skills.
  • A commitment to quality improvement and patient-centred care.
  • Availability to work across a rotating roster.
