Are you a seasoned nurse with a passion for guiding others? Do you love seeing the “aha!” moment when everything clicks for a new nurse? If you're ready to inspire, support, and lead the next generation of caregivers, then this role is made for you!
We’re looking for a Clinical Mentor (CM) — a confident, compassionate, and experienced RN who knows how to walk the talk. You’ll work side-by-side with novice nurses, mentoring them through their first steps into clinical practice and helping them grow into strong, competent professionals.
Be a role model and mentor for new nurses — sharing real-world knowledge, support, and encouragement.
Guide them through competency development using evidence-based practice and clinical expertise.
Jump in on the floor as a bedside RN to support mentorship, assessments, and team coverage.
Provide feedback, coaching, and hands-on skills development in the moment.
Work closely with nursing leadership, clinical education, and other teams across the organization — sometimes traveling to make it happen.
Balance mentorship with real-time patient care — this is a hands-on clinical role, not a desk job.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing or the equivalent in a combination of an ADN and years of relevant experience.
Current state of Missouri license as a Registered Nurse.
Current BLS, ACLS.
Three years recent nursing experience and/or demonstrated proficient to expert clinical aptitude and leadership.
Current certifications per department requirements.
Ability to navigate through the electronic medical record.
Effective collaboration, problem solving, and written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to be self-motivated and work independently/collaborate with colleagues and shift priorities with flexibility.
You get to make a lasting impact on someone’s nursing journey.
You’ll stay clinically active while stepping into a leadership-lite role.
Work with a passionate education team and collaborate across departments.
It’s rewarding, dynamic, and never boring — mentorship with meaning!
Ready to share your passion and experience to build up the future of nursing? Let’s grow greatness, together.
