Clinical Nurse Manager – Radiology – Full-Time | Days | Weill Cornell

As a Clinical Nurse Manager, you’ll assume first-line leadership responsibility for the delivery of patient care across our Radiology service line. You’ll oversee daily clinical operations, ensuring efficient patient flow and coordination throughout imaging procedures while promoting a culture of safety, quality, and accountability. Working closely with radiologists, technologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams, you’ll help ensure exceptional patient experiences and seamless care delivery across diagnostic and interventional imaging environments. You’ll help establish short- and long-term goals for the department, aligning with hospital-wide strategic priorities. You’ll monitor staff compliance with regulatory, hospital, and departmental standards and, once proficient, may be asked to train and mentor others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage daily operations of the Radiology nursing department
  • Ensure continuity and consistency in patient care delivery and adherence to imaging and procedural protocols
  • Support staff development, competency validation, and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards
  • Collaborate on departmental strategic planning, quality initiatives, and performance improvement efforts

Schedule & Location:
This is a full-time day flex position at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell located at 525 E 68th Street, New York, NY.

Preferred Criteria

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing (MSN); if MSN, BSN may be preferred
  • National board certification approved by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Critical Care or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
  • Experience in Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Procedural Nursing, or Imaging Services leadership


Required Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • New York State RN license
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
  • Progressive leadership experience with responsibility for coordinating clinical operations, supervising staff, and leading patient care delivery in a Charge Nurse, Assistant Nurse Manager, or similar capacity
  • Clinical expertise in Radiology, Procedural Services, or a related specialty
  • Knowledge of the current healthcare environment and performance improvement principles
