
Wage Range: $155,501 - $248,768 per year
Posted wage ranges represent the entire range from minimum to maximum. For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional premiums based on shift, certifications, or degrees. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience, level of education and internal equity.

Job Summary:
Assumes 24-hour accountability and responsibility for area(s) assigned. Responsible for overall quality of service and for planning, developing, organizing, integrating, and directing programs, staff, and budget in support of the Purpose and Mission, Shared Commitment and Strategic Priorities of EvergreenHealth.

Primary Duties:
1. Ensures quality patient care.
2. Assesses and identifies opportunities to manage organizational resources with fiscal responsibility promoting effective allocation of resources and revenue generation.
3. Services which are ensured, implemented, assessed, monitored, and/or evaluated by the Manager include: Nursing, Social Work, Volunteer, Disaster Preparedness and Contingency Planning, Performance Improvement, Medical Record Documentation System, Standards of Care/Standards of Practice, Clinical Resources and Regulatory Agency Activities: OBRA, State Department of Health, State Trauma Registry, and JC.
4. Develops and implements processes to manage human resources, materials, and finances within the established Emergency Department budget.
5. Is accountable for knowledge of and expertise in the management of an Emergency Department.
6. Is accountable for analyzing data necessary to evaluate delivery of care and outcome of care in support of continue value improvement for all customers.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.
License, Certification, Education or Experience:
REQUIRED for the position:
●Bachelors in Nursing (BSN)
● Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington
● 5 years of clinical experience in an Emergency Department setting
● 3 years of leadership/management experience
● Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care
● Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire
DESIRED for the position:
●Master’s degree in Nursing or Management
● ACLS, PALS, or ENPC and TNCC
