First Shift (United States of America)We are seeking a dynamic and experienced nursing leader to oversee and coordinate the delivery of high-quality patient care within assigned clinical areas. This role is responsible for driving excellence in nursing practice by effectively managing personnel, financial, and material resources while ensuring optimal patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will serve as a key collaborator across departments, fostering strong interdisciplinary partnerships to support a unified approach to achieving the organization’s mission. This leader will champion a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous quality improvement, while actively supporting research initiatives and evidence-based practice.

What You’ll Do:

-Administers, directs and coordinates the provision of quality nursing care in assigned areas
- Manage personnel, material and fiscal resources
- Interacts with other departments and organization staff to ensure a collaborative approach to meeting the mission of the organization
- Promotes an environment that allows for continuous quality improvement and research.

The starting salary is $138,635 which includes a comprehensive benefits package. The listed salary reflects the potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

License and Certification Requirement
1. License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York.
2. Certification or eligibility for Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Education and Experience
1. Master's degree in Nursing and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time nursing experience in an oncology support setting including two (2) years of nursing supervisory experience; or
2. Master's degree in Nursing and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time nursing experience in an oncology support setting including one (1) year experience in an oncology support setting and two (2) years of nursing supervisory experience; or
3. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time nursing experience in an oncology support setting including two (2) years of nursing supervisory experience; or
4. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time nursing experience in an acute care support setting including one (1) year experience in an oncology support setting and two (2) years of nursing supervisory experience.

NOTE:
1. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain the appropriate certification within eighteen (18) months of their appointment to this title.
2. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within six (6) months of their appointment to this title.
3. Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.

Preferred Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a BSN, 10 years or more of hospital case management experience, and proficient in Athena.
