Job Description

About the Role
Clarity is hiring for a CNM1 to work as part of a team involved in the care of young adults in a detention campus. The Clinical Nurse Manager 1 will report to the Clinical Nurse Manager 2 with overall accountability to the Campus Director

Duties 
  • Provide Integrated Primary Healthcare Deliver comprehensive physical and mental health nursing services to young people in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Conduct Assessments & Reporting Complete thorough nursing assessments, collate medical histories, and produce reports for courts and placement planning.
  • Safeguarding & Legal Compliance Fulfill mandatory nurse reporting duties under the Children First Act 2015 and liaise with child protection officers as needed.
  • Medication & Health Promotion Manage medication safely and lead health education and promotion programs as part of holistic care planning.
Requirements 
  • NMBI registration in good standing - Decision Letters will not be accepted
  • Minimum of 1 year post registration experience within an acute setting 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Both Technical and Professional expertise
