CCBD is a trusted community-based oncology and hematology practice serving patients in Bethesda, and Germantown, Maryland, for more than 25 years. We provide advanced, personalized care for cancer and blood disorders, including leading therapies, access to 300+ clinical trials, and state-of-the-art diagnostics, all grounded in compassion and a patient-first approach.

We are seeking an experienced, Clinical Nurse Manager to lead and support our oncology nursing team. Our Clinical Nurse Managers are instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence, supporting exceptional patient care, and helping teams thrive. Reflecting the importance of this role, we are pleased to offer a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

You will work closely with Ralph Boccia, MD, FACP, CCBD’s Medical Director and AON’s Medical Director of Research. A board-certified oncologist and hematologist and nationally recognized clinical-research leader, Dr. Boccia helps drive our commitment to innovative, patient-centered care.

CCBD offers comprehensive services, including on-site infusion therapy, specialty pharmacy home delivery, timely lab and pathology reporting, and supportive programs such as wellness services, nutrition guidance, and financial counseling.

Lead and oversee daily clinical operations to ensure safe, compliant, high-quality patient care. Direct staffing and workflow for nurses and clinical support teams; coach, educate, and develop staff; and coordinate emergency response as needed.

Maintain knowledge of relevant regulations, policies, procedures, and job standards while supporting ongoing operational priorities and projects.

Qualifications:

Certifications/Licenses

  • Unencumbered RN License in Maryland or multi-state licensure

  • Oncology Nurse certification (OCN) preferred.

  • Valid state Driver’s License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings. Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.

Experience

  • Three (3) years of nursing leadership experience preferred.

  • Five (5) years of experience in the healthcare field in a clinic or hospital setting. Oncology experience preferred.
