Job Description


RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in healthcare recruitment for both domestic and overseas candidates, providing staffing solutions to hospitals, nursing homes, home care, and community care facilities across Ireland and abroad.


We are currently hiring a
Clinical Nurse Manager f
or a reputed nursing home in Dublin, Ireland.
Responsibilities


  • Lead and coordinate the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care to all residents

  • Supervise and support the healthcare team, including Staff Nurses and Healthcare Assistants

  • Oversee care planning, assessments, implementation, and evaluation in line with best practice

  • Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, NMBI guidelines, and relevant legislation

  • Manage staff rostering, delegation of duties, and day-to-day clinical operations

  • Promote a positive, collaborative multidisciplinary team (MDT) environment

  • Monitor and improve clinical quality through audits, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Ensure high standards in infection control, medication management, and documentation

  • Act as a key point of contact for residents, families, and external healthcare professionals (GPs, hospitals, allied health)

  • Support staff training, mentorship, and ongoing professional development

  • Maintain a safe environment in line with health & safety and risk management policies

  • Participate in quality assurance, accreditation processes, and service development


Requirements


  • Registered General Nurse with current NMBI registration


  • Relevant post-registration nursing experience


  • Previous nursing home/elderly care experience is advantageous


  • Previous clinical management/CNM experience preferred


  • Strong clinical leadership and team-management skills


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


  • Ability to provide high-quality, person-centred care


  • Knowledge of HIQA standards and nursing-home regulations


  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Director of Nursing and multidisciplinary team

  • Salary: €25–€27 per hour (depending on experience)
