We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager for a leading Nursing Home in Co Dublin . Responsibilities Deliver a consistently high standard of patient-centred care in line with Healthcare’s mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives. Respect and recognise each patient as an individual, prioritising their rights, dignity, comfort, privacy, and safety at all times. Foster therapeutic relationships that support patient autonomy, informed choice, and evidence-based decision-making. Advocate on behalf of patients by providing reassurance, support, and ensuring their views and wishes are fully considered. Actively identify, report, and escalate concerns where patient safety, quality of care, or organisational obligations may be compromised. In the absence of the Assistant Director of Nursing, fulfil the role of Person-in-Charge in compliance with the Health Act 2007, HIQA standards, and associated regulations. Support the Registered Provider and Director of Nursing in the effective day-to-day management and governance of the service. Provide leadership through effective delegation, accountability, and staff development, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, training requirements, and Healthcare policies. Promote a restraint-free environment and ensure staff are competent in managing responsive or challenging behaviours in line with national policy. Lead quality and safety initiatives by participating in audits, inspections, risk management, infection control, and ensuring accurate, compliant patient documentation and record-keeping. Requirements Maintain current annual registration in the relevant Division of the Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). Have a minimum of 5 years’ post-registration nursing experience. Have at least 2 years’ experience in leading or managing a team. Demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development. Hold a relevant qualification in Management. Hold a Train the Trainer qualification. Be a certified ACLS Instructor. Demonstrate strong clinical and evidence-based knowledge. Have proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and clinical software such as EPR systems. Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills for multidisciplinary team working and patient education. Possess strong presentation and communication skills.
