The Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) is a front-line nursing leader responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, evidence--based patient-centered care while advancing performance across key quality and operational metrics. This role blends clinical expertise, leadership, and data analytics to drive measurable improvements in patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, and organizational goals. The CNM leads the unit in achieving excellence in quality, safety, patient experience, and operational efficiency.
The Clinical Manager supervises staff in their daily activities to ensure the delivery of care according to established departmental policies and procedures. This position assists the Clinical Director with resolving staff issues, participating in performance reviews, monitoring budgetary practices, preparing staff schedules, developing and implementing performance improvement activities and orienting new employees to the unit.
The Clinical Manager serves as a key communicator for organizational updates, policy changes and education needs. This position establishes and maintains communication with physicians and other professionals to promote mutual understanding of problems and plans of care.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Potential for exposure to blood borne pathogens along with infectious diseases. Physical demands include but are not limited to consideration stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing heavy equipment and excessive standing and walking. Lifting approximately 25-50 lbs. frequently; lifting 50-10 lbs. with assistance occasionally.
