
St. Mary's Medical Center is currently seeking a Full Time Clinical Nurse Coordinator for our Oncology Department The Clinical Nurse Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the management of the medical-surgical, critical care, and surgical services units by: participating in staff performance evaluations, interviewing, hiring, and counseling of employees; investigating concerns on patient care safety; coordinating quality improvement activities and staff development/education; and performing other duties to facilitate nursing care for patients.
Qualifications
EDUCATION: Graduate of an approved school of nursing and holds a current license in State of West Virginia.
BSN required. MSN or MHA preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum of five (5) years nursing experience.
SKILLS: Demonstrate competence in management and leadership skills. Should maintain skills in order
to relate to changing care needs. BLS required.
Desirable: Member of a professional organization; Certification in nursing specialty.
