Employment Term: Maximum Term Part Time Opportunity (6 months with possibility of extension)
Location: located opposite Roma St Parklands, St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital is just a short walk to Brisbane city
Remuneration:$64.96 - $73.02phr + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

As a Clinical Nurse Consultant
Provide Exceptional customer service skills focused on exceeding patient expectations
Commit to achievingoptimalpatient outcomesthrough the use ofeffective clinical knowledge and professional standards of practice
Apply clinical practice that ensures and promotes a safe environment foroptimalpatient health
Effectively and accurately exchange,retrieveand manage information relevant to your role
Exercise authority throughappropriate decisionmaking
Apply sound knowledge of principles of clinical and workplace risk management, including incident management
What makes a difference for us?
You’lldemonstrate
Relevant and recent post-registration nursing experience
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of WHS practices
Complex problem-solving and assessment skills
Implementation of improvements and initiatives to clinical practice.
Additionalinformation:
Liaise with doctors for go ahead- mentioning any concerns of the above
Liaise with pharmacy reall ofthe above
Provide education to patients
Complete competencies with staff
Booking patients in via Cerner booking system
Liaise with doctor secretaries
Ensure pharmacy are up to date with any add on patients
Update policies and procedures, fact sheets, forms etc
Update risk assessments asrequired
Willingness to obtain required vaccinations in line with hospitals infection control requirements, as well as undergo national criminal history check and functional assessment
