About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinical leader to join our friendly McGregor Ward. The McGregor ward specialises in caring for a range of medical and surgical patients. As the Clinical Nurse you will be required to act as a professional resource in all facets of caring for patients whilst problem solving within the clinical setting. You will work collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager in the implementation of quality improvement activities to ensure the department is safe, effective and follows best practice.

To be successful you will be a positive role model, demonstrate highly developed communication skills and have a strong customer focus.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset and hold a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values.

You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You will also bring:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum (4) years’ experience working in a clinical leader role in an acute setting
  • Experience in Urology/Renal (highly regarded)
  • Demonstrate excellent time management, clinical problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to act as a positive role model with excellent communication and delegation skills
  • Proven ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient
  • Advanced understanding of ANMC competencies as per nursing registration

Remuneration

On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $54.72 - $58.82 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/Midwife Level 2 grade 2.1 – 2.4)

The Hospital

St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital is a fully accredited advanced surgical, medical and obstetric hospital within a 5-minute walk from Ipswich CBD. Parking is available in the hospital car park and in the surrounding streets.

Requirements

  • Must provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
