Astera Cancer Care/Princeton Radiation Oncology is seeking a Clinical Medical Physicist for an exciting career opportunity at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold NJ. The responsibilities of the position include daily clinical services, quality assurance, external beam treatment planning and special procedures such as HDR brachytherapy and stereotactic treatments. The successful candidate will also participate in acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment and new clinical programs. There are occasional coverage needs at our other centers.

Facility and Equipment:

This is a unique opportunity to become a vital part of our world class team. We are a Physician-owned group providing physics and dosimetry services at four five fully accredited radiation oncology treatment facilities in Central New Jersey and Bucks County Pennsylvania. We offer the full scope of state-of-the-art radiation oncology services and have an experienced, stable, highly qualified team of 6 physicists and 6 dosimetrists. CentraState will be using Eclipse/ARIA /TrueBeam starting July 2026.

Qualifications:

  • MS or Ph.D. in physics, radiological physics, medical physics or a related specialty.
  • Certification by the ABR, or the ABMP or board eligible.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Experience with HDR and Radiosurgery preferred.
