The Clinical Medical Management Unit at Novo Nordisk is a dynamic and collaborative team devoted to advancing healthcare through clinical research and development. The position
As a Clinical Medical Manager (CMM), you will facilitate clinical trials in multiple therapy areas including diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease, liver disease, kidney disease and emerging therapy areas by providing medical/scientific executions impacts based on insights from investigators. Demonstrate independence, innovation, and initiative in prioritizing and performing scientific tasks. This role may require some international travel for site visits, congresses, and company events.

Your key tasks are:

• Contribute to successful clinical trials by collaborating with clinical operations to drive scientific execution activities and leverage investigator’s scientific expertise through scientific activities and site selection and initiation visits, performing ad hoc visits, engaging key investigators to be the industry leader in trial execution and upskill investigators in medical treatment with investigational medicinal product.
• Build trial strategy for scientific execution and drive industry leading scientific activities to contribute to scientific retention and recruitment (SRR) activities locally and build strong scientific partnership with investigators, site staff, and relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth study conduct and timely trial execution based on insights.
• Provide timely medical guidance and training to clinical staff by supporting training creation and delivery.
• Identify and map potential investigator candidates, investigators, and research centers in relevant therapy areas in collaboration with clinical operations teams. Engage with investigators to collect valuable medical insights to build relevant trial strategy and execute cross-functional activities within the local affiliate/Clinical Development Center (CDC) and cross-country teams.
• Collect early scientific insights and guidance by discussing relevant development data with external medical and scientific experts, engaging with clinical experts for trial execution excellence, and ensuring internal and external stakeholders are trained on the trial's scientific background. Act as an expert in relevant TAs and lead trial execution relevant scientific activities through medical initiatives e.g. advisory boards, scientific meetings, and engagement with investigators. Support ad hoc requests with timely scientific and medical responses for investigators, site staff, clinical operations staff, and other relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

• MD or Ph.D, PharmD, Pharmacist in healthcare industry with strong clinical and medical, research background is essential.
• Require as minimum 5 years or more of Medical affairs experience in pharma nidustry, solid expertise in relevant therapeutic areas, and experience in human healthcare research, preferably with peer-reviewed journal authorship. Clinical/pharmaceutical industry experience would be added advantage.
• Understanding of the specificities and nuances of the local healthcare infrastructure and pharmaceutical drug development.
• Extensive scientific communication skills for internal and external stakeholders, excellent and proactive communication skills, and strong presentation abilities.
• This position is only open to local language speaking Korean applicants, with native language fluency in Korean.
