Job Description

Nau mai ki te roopu Arvida | Welcome to Arvida

At Arvida, we create communities with freedom to thrive

You will be responsible for leading clinical excellence, managing clinical risk, planning and executing effective continuous improvement initiatives, as well as operational oversight of the clinical team including rosters, recruitment, and budgeting.

If you are passionate about measurable and meaningful quality of care that meets contractual and legislative requirements and reflects current best practices, this is the opportunity for you. You will lead a passionate team committed to supporting our aged care residents to live life their way.

Our Attitude of Living Well approach is an important philosophy at Arvida, and you will work alongside other team members across the community organisation to practice and promote this approach, building an authentic resident-led culture and experience.

This is a full time role working 40 hours across Monday to Friday (with some on-call requirements during evening and weekends).

Arvida Group Ltd

About Arvida Group Ltd

Arvida is transforming the ageing experience.

Formed in 2014 when we listed on the NZ stock exchange, Arvida has grown to become a group spread across 35 locations nationally with greenfield development underway adding 2 more locations. We offer retirement living accommodation and aged care services to over 6,750 residents, and are one of the largest providers of aged care services in NZ.

Everyday over 2,700 of us strive to improve the lives and wellbeing of our residents. With this vision, we are reimagining how communities will age and setting strategy accordingly. Our focus is on the resident – we are customer-led in our outcomes. This resonates through strategy from new builds and acquisitions, to our care model which we call The Attitude of Living Well. It may not sound transformational, but the legacies of a sector historically focused on clinical outcomes has required a fundamental change in culture. The numbers show we are on the right path: resident Net Promoter Score of +53 and +51 at our villages and care respectively; our inaugural staff engagement index at 78%, with 96% of staff determined to give their best effort at work each day; industry leading occupancy at 96%; and almost two-thirds of our care facilities now at the Ministry of Health gold-standard accreditation of four years – to mention a few.

But we are only at the beginning of what we have set out to achieve.
