 We are seeking a  Clinical Lead for our  Oncology department!

As a  Clinical Lead, you will be  challenged, you will  learn, and your  compassionskills, and  ambition will be rewarded!
 
Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
  • Manage a team of RVTs and Veterinary Assistants
  • Demonstrate solid veterinary clinical skills and be a role model for the team
  • Facilitate direct or indirect training to department staff.  Provide routine assessment of skill level and knowledge
  • Complete monthly schedule and ensure adequate coverage
  • Deliver results in areas of staff development, best practices (SOPs), training, client satisfaction, and safety
Compensation for this role falls between $35 - $45 hourly 
Basic required qualifications:
  • 3 years experience in a fast-paced veterinary clinical setting, RVT license highly preferred
  • Ability to lead by example and positively influence others by managing and participating in the mentorship and training of team members
  • Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices and estimates, and other position-related calculations
  • Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP); must obtain within 60-days of hire or transfer into this role; (this requirement is waived if incumbent holds a valid CA-RVT license)
Work Schedule:                         
  • Full-Time
  • 4/10 Schedule
  • Must have weekend/open availability to cover various shifts

Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
