
Speech Pathology – Clinical Lead – Education and Support (Conjoint)
About the opportunity
This position is a joint appointment between the University of Tasmania and the Tasmanian Health Service, focused on strengthening the link between Speech Pathology education and clinical practice. The role leads the development and coordination of student clinical placements within THS, while contributing to the Master of Speech Pathology program at UTAS to ensure it remains aligned with workforce and service delivery needs. It provides leadership in workforce development, supports supervisors and students, and fosters collaboration between the University and health services to build a sustainable, job-ready Speech Pathology workforce for Tasmania.

The Department of Health Tasmania oversees various hospitals across the state, including the Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, Northwest Regional Hospital, and Mersey Community Hospital, as well as district hospitals and ambulance services. Additionally, it provides community health, mental health, and primary healthcare services to the Tasmanian community through more than 300 sites.

Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

$131,122 to $138,984 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
