Clinical Lead – Children Services
West Midlands / Walsall

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Lead to join a well-established and growing provider of children’s services in the West Midlands. This role is ideal for a dedicated clinician with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care to children and young people with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and oversight across children’s services
  • Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality care in line with best practice
  • Support and develop clinical and care teams through training, supervision, and mentorship
  • Lead on care planning, clinical assessments, and risk management
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external professionals
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and safeguarding standards
  • Drive continuous improvement and contribute to service development initiatives
  • Monitor clinical outcomes and maintain accurate documentation and reporting

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RNLD/RMN/RGN) or relevant clinical qualification
  • Valid professional registration (e.g., NMC)
  • Proven experience working with children or young people with complex needs
  • Previous leadership or senior clinical experience
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
  • Full UK driving licence (desirable)
