
Performs and demonstrates competency, proficiency and understanding of the test procedures in the Clinical Laboratory up to and including high complexity testing.

Bachelor of Science Biology, Biochemistry or Chemistry, Medical Laboratory Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science, or Microbiology - Required

If no B.S Degree in the above areas, must have a Bachelor's Degree with specific completed course requirements outlined below:
16 semester or equivalent quarter units of chemistry, which must include clinical chemistry or analytical and biochemistry.
18 semester or equivalent quarter units of biology, which must include hematology, immunology, and medical microbiology.
3 semester or equivalent quarter units of physics (light and electricity).
Certifications/Licensures:
CLS Clinical Lab Scientist (MTA) - California Department of Public Health - Laboratory Field Service or
Clinical Microbiologist Scientist - California Department of Public Health - Laboratory Field Service - Required

Pay Range:
$65.04 - $87.78HourlyOffer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and/or licensure. Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area
