Job Description

Altera Digital Health
Clinical Implementation Specialist
Location: Singapore, Philippines or Australia

About Altera Digital Health
At Altera Digital Health, we are on a mission to make healthcare work better for clinicians, patients, and the organisations that serve them. We partner with healthcare providers across the globe to deliver innovative digital solutions that support critical care delivery, including electronic patient records, clinical workflows, interoperability, and decision support systems. Our technology sits at the heart of some of the most important healthcare environments in the world.

Our Professional Services team plays a key role in transforming technology into real-world outcomes. We work closely with customers throughout the implementation journey, ensuring not only successful system go-lives, but meaningful and lasting improvements in how care is delivered.

About the Role
This is a customer-facing, delivery-focused clinical role that brings real-world clinical expertise into the design, implementation, and optimization of Altera solutions. You will work closely with clinical and operational stakeholders to configure, implement, and optimise our platforms, ensuring successful adoption and alignment with customer needs.

This role is best suited to a seasoned healthcare professional with strong clinical-based hospital experience who is looking to transition into or expand within healthcare technology implementation. You will be supported in developing product and implementation methodology expertise, while bringing valuable real-world clinical insight to customer engagements.

The role reports into regional Professional Services leadership and works closely with global delivery teams, including key stakeholders across Singapore, Philippines, and Australia.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation Delivery

  • Deliver end-to-end implementation activities in line with Altera’s implementation methodology.
  • Configure systems and support solution deployment across multiple clinical and operational domains.
  • Plan and lead client discovery workshops, workflow reviews, and solution design discussions.
  • Provide go-live and activation support as required.

Clinical Workflow & Consulting

  • Apply strong clinical-based hospital experience to advise on workflow design and optimisation.
  • Work with implementation teams to translate approved requirements into practical system configurations and solution designs.
  • Facilitate multidisciplinary clinical discovery sessions to understand current-state workflows, pain points, risks, and desired outcomes.
  • Translate clinical requirements into structured, traceable requirements for EMR and implementation teams.
  • Support issue resolution and escalation during implementation phases.
  • Set clear expectations with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.
  • Lead and support client-facing sessions with clear communication, strong professional presence, and effective management of competing stakeholder perspectives.
  • Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure alignment across project phases.

Delivery & Quality

  • Execute assigned project tasks to agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating where appropriate.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of implementation processes and methodologies.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on product and delivery enhancements.

Key Skills & Experience

Essential

  • At least five years’ clinical experience in a hospital environment.
  • Qualified healthcare clinician with a strong understanding of clinical workflows. Must be able to act as a bridge between clinical stakeholders and the EMR implementation team.
  • Experience participating in EMR or clinical information system implementations (including requirements gathering, workflow analysis, UAT, training, or go-live support).
  • Ability to engage with diverse clinical stakeholders (doctors, nurses, allied health) to assess current-state processes, pain points, and requirements.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to remain patient, structured, and solution-focused in complex, client-facing environments (generalist hospital exposure preferred).
  • Strong ability to learn new systems and adapt to healthcare technology environments.

Desirable

  • Experience configuring or implementing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, including Altera solutions or similar healthcare platforms.
  • Exposure to healthcare IT implementations or clinical systems.
  • Prior experience in workflow redesign or clinical transformation initiatives.
  • Experience producing formal requirements, functional specifications, or comparable implementation documentation.

Location & Travel

  • Hybrid working model, with encouragement to work from the office where possible.
  • Occasional travel required (typically a few times per year, depending on client location).
  • Some client proximity travel may be required depending on project assignment.

Why Join Us
This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional clinical practice and apply your expertise in a broader, high-impact environment. You’ll help shape how healthcare technology is implemented across diverse systems, directly influencing how clinicians and patients experience care.

If you are passionate about healthcare, enjoy solving complex problems, and want to contribute to meaningful transformation across the APAC region, we’d love to hear from you.
