About the role

Mater Supply Chain Operations has a rewarding opportunity for a Clinical Equipment Loan Officer to join the team in a full-time permanent capacity based at South Brisbane.

The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, operating on a 9-day fortnight schedule. You will report to the Manager of the Central Clinical Loan Store and assist in delivering a professional equipment, warehouse, and distribution service for Mater Health.

Salary range: $34.87 - $36.55 per hour plus superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900  +access to many staff benefits!

What you’ll be doing

  • Assisting with delivery, collection and cleaning of equipment across Mater Health Services
  • Supporting with maintenance of equipment
  • Assisting with general warehousing duties, including unloading vehicles, storage, distribution and picking of medical consumables
  • Maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders, including staff and customers
  • Actively participate in safety initiatives
  • Keeping workspaces clean, efficient, safe and tidy
  • Respond promptly to changing customer requirements
  • Have an eye for continuous improvement
  • Assisting with general department duties as directed by the Manager

About you

  • Warehouse, logistic or distribution experience is highly desirable
  • Knowledge and experience within the Healthcare Industry is advantageous
  • Ability to operate and maintain clinical equipment, develop proficiencies in the distribution, return and recording of equipment and consumables
  • An exceptional attitude and work ethic combined with a passion to succeed and service customers to the best of your ability
  • Capability to meet set daily targets/ KPI’s
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions
  • A safety-centric mindset

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
