TheSurgical Services Clinical Educatorserves as a professional practice leader, resource, and mentor withinNorth Country Healthcare This position supports the ongoing clinical development of staff across the healthcare system's threesurgical services departments at Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital (UCVH), Weeks Medical Center (WMC), and Androscoggin Valley Hospital (AVH), as well as the Women's Services Department at AVHThe Clinical Educator develops, implements, and evaluates educational programs and competency assessments forsurgical servicesto advance clinical excellence, support evidence-based practice,maintainregulatory compliance, and promote continuous quality improvement.
The Surgical Services Clinical Educator will work closely with the NCH Director of Surgical Services, the Surgery Chiefs and Anesthesiology, as well as the Director of Nursing Practice to develop an annual curriculum.
This role will behybrid;part-time in education and part-time working in surgical services.
