
Capitol Park Mental Health Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota is a comprehensive behavioral health facility offering inpatient psychiatric care for adults and seniors experiencing acute mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders. Opened in 2025 with a 144-bed capacity, the hospital provides 24/7 therapeutic support and is expanding to include structured partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs (PHP, IOP). It serves a broad adult patient population from the greater Twin Cities area, focusing on individualized, whole-person treatment to help patients stabilize and progress toward long-term recovery.
The Director of Admissions plays a critical leadership role in ensuring timely, efficient, and patient-centered access to care. This position oversees all admissions and intake operations, partners closely with clinical leadership to ensure appropriate placement and medical necessity, and leads a high-performing admissions team focused on responsiveness, accuracy, and compassionate engagement. The Director also serves as a key liaison with referral sources, payers, and internal departments to support census growth while maintaining regulatory compliance and an exceptional patient and family experience from first contact through admission.

Direct the facility admissions activities by driving the admissions process, developing, implementing, and maintaining revenue-generating strategies.
