Salary Range: $84,342.00 - $104,869.00 Salary,

Travel Percentage: Up to 50% ,

Position Summary

Responsible for the oversight of clinical services in the Residential programs. FSRI has 4 residential intervention programs (Semi-Independent and Assessment & Stabilization) that serve youth ages 13-20. Provides supervision and management to clinicians across the programs. Ensures high quality evidence based and trauma informed care that meets resident’s needs and contractual standards. Ensures fidelity to the TST model through training, supervision, and program development. Builds and maintains positive relationships with the Department of Children, Youth and Families. Assists Residential Administration with continuous program development, implementation and improvement. Carries clinical cases as necessary. Provides emergency crisis intervention/assessment as needed.

SPECIFIC DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide oversight of Residential Clinical programs including all staff training in TST, collaborating with Director and Asst Director to ensure program staff are providing trauma informed care and utilizing TST.
  • Ensure that clients accessing treatment in Residential programs have access to competent, highly effective and compassionate care.
  • Assist in hiring competent and passionate staff.
  • Review diagnostic assessments completed by staff.
  • Provide ongoing evaluation of assessments and referrals of youth to be placed in residential programs.
  • Provide regular scheduled supervision to clinical supervisors and/or clinical staff.
  • Conduct weekly staff meetings and participate in program staff meetings in coordination with Residential Administration.
  • Ensure that staff maintain professional and accurate documentation and provide education in these areas as needed.
  • Complete administrative documentation (reports, time sheets, etc.) in a timely manner
  • Review assigned staff member's productivity levels, timeliness of work, and clinical competence.
  • Participate in the performance evaluation process of assigned employees.
  • Build and maintain positive, working relationships with community organizations and providers.
  • Serve as a liaison to the Department of Children, Youth, and Families on behalf of the program.
  • Coordinate the development of new policies and procedures with Residential Management to meet emerging needs of clients and the program.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments and community agencies to ensure coordinated and quality care of clients.
  • Participate in clinical and administrative supervision as required with Vice President.
  • Participates as part of the admin team in program emergency on-call schedule.
  • Transport clients and family as needed.
  • Responsible for distribution of any necessary medication in accordance with FSRI Medication Management Policies and Procedures.
  • Provide emergency or crisis intervention techniques, such as passive physical restraint, when necessary
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • LICSW, LMHC or LMFT required.
  • Prior supervisory experience required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and auto insurance a must.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires residential and community visits, employees in this position must have the ability to:

  • Travel to and from community locations and residential site locations, which could include using walkways, stairs and/or elevators.
  • Ability to utilize a computer and Electronic Medical Record to complete documentation.
  • Ability to lift up to 20lbs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to push or pull 10 lbs or more
  • Ability to pick up 10 lbs or more
  • Ability to perform physical intervention if clients present a threat to themselves or others.
