Job Description

The Old Colony Y Intensive Home Based Program is looking for a dynamic Clinical Director to join our IHB team! The Clinical Director will assist our consumers, staff, and Program Director in providing quality home and community based treatment interventions and support to youth and families referred by the Department of Mental Health Children's Services and are experiencing mental health needs that impact their home and community relationships. The position involves facilitating family team meetings, assisting in on call responsibilities, and providing training, clinical supervision, and coaching to the staff team, and managing small caseload when needed. The Clinical Director leads the team with intakes, orientation, maintaining case records, and developing and implementing treatment plans according to highest professional standards. A strong commitment to youth and family empowerment, trauma informed care, and cultural humility are needed.

Qualifications

Masters Degree in the Human Services Field ( Masters in Social Work preferred) and Clinical License required, with three years of experience with youth and/or families in the areas of social service, mental health/behavioral health

Excellent Communication (verbal and written), organizational, and interpersonal skills

Supervisory skills and experience preferred

Basic computer skills for data entry of treatment documents, emails, etc.

Flexibility to provide response to staff and families in crisis within the community, and in a fast paced work environment.

Possess a valid driver's license, clean driving record, automobile, and automobile insurance for daily work travel.

Able to sit, stand, and walk during the work day.
