Job Description

Are you a life sciences student ready to see how clinical trials actually come to life? Join our Clinical Development Center in Istanbul and get hands-on experience supporting the studies that bring new treatments closer to patients living with serious chronic diseases. This is a chance to build real skills, work alongside experienced clinical professionals, and contribute to something bigger from day one.

Your new role
As our new Clinical Development Intern in the Start Up team, you will play a hands-on role in getting clinical trials off the ground in Turkey. You will support submissions, contracts, payments and documentation – gaining a rare, 360-degree view of what it takes to launch a clinical study in an international pharmaceutical environment.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Uploading trial documents to the eTMF system in a timely manner and performing compliance checks
  • Supporting the preparation, review and submission of Health Authority (HA) and Ethics Committee (EC) dossiers, ensuring compliance with ICH GCP, local requirements and Novo Nordisk processes
  • Assisting in drafting and negotiating original contracts for clinical sites and local vendors, in coordination with legal and compliance colleagues
  • Supporting the signing, shipping and repository of contractual documents, as well as managing contractual processes in electronic systems
  • Contributing to site payment initiation activities, including EDC alignment, reconciliation with sites and SmartGrants entry
  • Retrieving invoices and preparing cover letters and stamp tax documents
  • Providing broader administrative support to the CDC team as needed

Your new department
Our Clinical Development Center (CDC) in Turkey is responsible for running clinical trials that generate the evidence behind our therapies. You will sit within the Clinical Operations Excellence (COE) Start Up team, working closely with Submission, Contract and Payment Specialists, Clinical Trial Assistants, CRAs and Trial Managers – a collaborative group where your curiosity and initiative will be welcomed from day one.

Your skills & qualifications
We are looking for a motivated student or recent graduate who is eager to learn, take initiative and contribute to a busy clinical team. To thrive in this role, you will bring:

  • Ongoing university studies (3rd or 4th year) in Life Sciences (e.g. Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy) or a recent graduation from a distinguished university
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
  • Proficiency in MS Office and a natural comfort with digital systems and tools
  • A collaborative mindset and strong sense of initiative
  • A "can-do" attitude and willingness to take ownership of your tasks
