The Clinical Coordinator serves as an administrative liaison and resource person throughout the practice facilitating, coordinating, and overseeing the process of patient care. This role is responsible for clinical staff, staff assignments, vacation calendar, department orientation of new staff, and patient education. The Clinical Coordinator provides support and guidance for clinical policies and procedures as well as ensures compliance with appropriate regulatory agency requirements.
Minimum Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Minimum Years of Experience: 3 Years of clinical experience (At least 2 Years of experience in areas of specialty or related medical setting within the past 5 years)
Substitutable Education & Experience (Optional): An ASN/ADN degree with 3 years of clinical experience can be substituted for the following combinations: Bachelors in Nursing with 2 years of experience in areas of specialty within the past 5 years.
Required Certifications/Licensure: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse by the State Board of Nursing for South Carolina; Current CPR Certification.
Required Training: Demonstrates basic first aid knowledge.
