Wilkes University invites applicants for a full time Graduate Program Clinical Coordinator position in the Passan School of Nursing Graduate Department. The Passan School of Nursing offers both undergraduate and graduate programs and is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
The successful candidate will collaborate with faculty, students, healthcare agencies, preceptors, mentors, and others as required on clinical practice and research sites for all graduate programs; coordinating and ensuring application of clinical clearance procedures for graduate students; and developing and managing databases for all pertinent operations of the position, as appropriate.
A baccalaureate degree in nursing is required. A master's degree in nursing is preferred. An unencumbered RN license with eligibility for licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is also required. The candidate should have experience in graduate education with clinical placement activities preferred but not required. The ideal candidate should have two years of nursing experience as required with preferred experiential knowledge of nursing leadership, distance education clinical placements, and/or legal and regulatory nursing issues. Strong communication interpersonal and presentation skills. Ability to function well with a diverse community and provide quality coaching and mentoring support. Strong computer skills are required. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
