As a Clinical Care Liaison, you will plan and implement specific marketing systems; develop and maintain productive relationships with key referral sources, resulting in the development of census to budgeted levels. Effective skills to deploy a Consultative selling process with referral sources in the assigned territory.
Essential Duties Include:
Develop, execute, and manage a regional marketing and outreach strategy aligned with organizational goals, performance metrics, and admission objectives.
Consistently achieve assigned territory goals and objectives for a minimum of three quarters annually.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of facility operations, including administrative, clinical, and programmatic services.
Identify, cultivate, and engage qualified referral sources by coordinating and participating in educational programs, marketing seminars, lectures, and workshops.
Plan, coordinate, and execute outreach events and educational initiatives in compliance with established organizational processes and standards.
Build and sustain strong, professional relationships with referral partners and community stakeholders.
Strategically identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory through relationship growth and referral network expansion.
Effectively educate healthcare professionals, referral partners, and the community on available behavioral health services in an ethical, compliant, and professional manner, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Manage assigned territory to achieve performance targets, ensuring timely and accurate CRM documentation of outreach activities, inquiries, and outcomes in accordance with company standards.
Maintain detailed weekly activity reports and accurate admission tracking data.
Conduct quarterly performance reviews with leadership, analyzing territory performance, referral trends, and growth opportunities.
Respond promptly and professionally to all inquiries regarding programs, services, and general facility information.
Develop and maintain an organized, up-to-date database of current and prospective referral sources, including detailed profiles of practices, preferred programs, competitive landscape, and referral needs.
Participate in regular meetings—both in-person and virtual—with the Business Development Area Director and Chief Marketing Officer to review territory performance, strategic initiatives, and business development outcomes.
QualificationsEducation and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, marketing, healthcare administration, behavioral health, or a related field.
Minimum of five years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, or provider relations, preferably within a behavioral healthcare or healthcare setting.
Demonstrated ability to build and manage referral relationships and support territory growth.
Experience working with clinical teams, healthcare providers, or treatment programs strongly preferred.
