
Under the direction of the Family Medicine Residency Director, the LPN/RN will provide assistance in the implementing and interpretation of support services, policies and objectives. Performs procedures that require a nursing license. Working knowledge of procedural nursing skills and policies, office routines and procedures, knowledge of all equipment utilized within the department and a comprehensive understanding of other departments in the acute care area such as reception, lab and x-ray. Provides coordinated care to specific patients by developing, monitoring and evaluating interdisciplinary care. Through collaborative patient care management of targeted patient goals and priorities will be assessed with maximum utilization of medical resources to be achieved. Develops, monitors and evaluates the efficiency of interdisciplinary teamwork and collaborative care outcomes.
Associates degree from an accredited school of nursing. Kentucky LPN/RN license required. BLS required.
