Your new role
As a Clinical Operation Lead, this is where strategic thinking meets hands-on execution – where your leadership directly enables breakthrough therapies to reach patients faster. Some of your responsibilities will include:
Lead Business Operations strategy by establishing clear CDC strategies, overseeing capacity and workforce planning, optimizing productivity, performance and financial management through data-driven insights.
Orchestrating end-to-end vendor management relationships at country level, driving and monitoring performance, partnership development, and operational excellence.
Lead CDC strategic Vendor Risk by identifying, managing, and resolving vendor-related risks and issues
Drive CDC strategic Vendor Initiatives & Development, enhance vendor efficiency, service quality, and regulatory compliance
Managing clinical trial site payments and steering clinical legal initiatives in close collaboration with local legal, ethics, and compliance teams
Providing strategic oversight of flexible and scalable workforce planning in alignment with International Operations strategy
Acting as CDC expert for Clinical Business Operations topics, advising leadership on recommendations to drive productivity and improved resource allocation
Leading project management of key initiatives within workforce, productivity, and performance management together with regional and International Operations stakeholders

The Clinical Development Center (CDC) in Mexico plays a vital role in advancing our clinical portfolio across multiple therapy areas, ensuring that promising compounds move efficiently through Clinical Development. As part of this growing center, you'll collaborate with colleagues across regions and globally, while building capabilities that strengthen Novo Nordisk's competitive advantage in clinical operations.

Your skills and qualifications
We are looking for a a strategic operations leader who possesses:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Finance, Health Sciences, or related fields
Significant experience in business planning, financial analysis, drug discovery, or clinical development within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
Previous experience in clinical vendor management, contracting or site-related collaborations in the pharmaceutical industry or CROs.
Deep understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines, regulatory requirements, and quality standards in clinical operations
Proven ability to lead teams, empower, motivating, and inspiring individuals to deliver ambitious results
Strong problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset, committed to identifying inefficiencies and implementing best practices in clinical operations.
Knowledge of CRO partnerships, outsourcing models, and contract management processesis a differential
