Job Description

As a Clinical Business Intelligence Specialist (High Acuity Care), you will be a key member of the GE HealthCare PCS Digital team.

In this role, you will have a direct impact on the smooth operation of clinical workflows, supporting clinicians in anesthesia, intensive care units (ICUs), and operating room (OR) management to improve patient care and outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include solution configuration and deployment in collaboration with project teams, customer consulting, and functional support alongside support teams. In addition, you will be responsible for defining, customizing, and implementing business intelligence reports; analyzing customer requirements and providing consultative guidance; and designing and developing displays, dashboards, and reporting solutions.

As a Clinical Business Intelligence Specialist (High Acuity Care), you will play a key role in supporting healthcare organizations through the implementation, optimization, and adoption of digital and business intelligence solutions in critical care environments. You will work closely with customers, project teams, product teams, and clinical stakeholders to deliver solutions that improve clinical workflows, operational efficiency, and patient outcomes across anesthesia, intensive care, and operating room settings.

Pre-Sales Support

  • Contribute to tender and proposal activities by providing clinical, functional, and business expertise.

  • Analyze customer environments, business requirements, and clinical workflows to develop tailored solution recommendations.

  • Conduct competitor and market analyses to support effective response strategies.

  • Participate in the definition of solution value propositions and implementation approaches.

  • Deliver product demonstrations and presentations that showcase the clinical and operational benefits of the solution.

Solution Delivery & Consulting

  • Lead the functional aspects of software implementation and deployment projects.

  • Conduct site assessments and provide recommendations aligned with customer objectives.

  • Collaborate with customers to define key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting requirements, and workflow optimization opportunities.

  • Configure, customize, and implement applications, dashboards, reports, and business intelligence solutions.

  • Design and optimize customer workflows to support efficient clinical operations.

  • Facilitate change management activities to ensure successful user adoption.

  • Deliver training programs for key users, administrators, and end-users.

  • Support system validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), go-live activities, and post-implementation stabilization.

  • Ensure project milestones, timelines, and budgets are achieved.

Customer Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Provide post-implementation support to ensure successful solution adoption and ongoing customer satisfaction.

  • Analyze and resolve configuration-related issues and system incidents.

  • Recommend and implement solution enhancements, optimizations, and corrective actions.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers on best practices for leveraging clinical and business intelligence solutions.

Installed Base Development

  • Engage with customers to share industry best practices and promote continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Support customers in optimizing clinical and operational processes through effective use of software solutions.

  • Present new features, capabilities, and value-added opportunities to maximize solution utilization.

  • Provide guidance related to institutional, regulatory, and operational requirements.

Product & Business Contribution

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for High Acuity Care and business intelligence solutions.

  • Gather customer feedback and collaborate with global Product Management and R&D teams to drive product enhancements and innovation.

  • Contribute market insights and customer requirements to influence product roadmaps and development priorities.

  • Provide expertise on clinical, operational, and business processes during customer and internal discussions.

  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, generate business value, and support organizational objectives.

  • Share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and support the onboarding and development of new team members.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Knowledge of intensive care, anesthesia, and operating room clinical workflows.

  • Understanding of broader hospital operations, including patient pathways, laboratory, pharmacy, billing, IT, and biomedical departments.

  • Experience with Business Intelligence and reporting platforms such as Sisense, Tableau, Crystal Reports, or similar tools.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Analysis Services (SSAS), and multidimensional data models/cubes.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into practical solutions.

  • Experience in software implementation, consulting, healthcare IT, or clinical informatics environments is preferred.

  • Fluent English and Swedish; additional languages are considered an asset.

  • Valid driving license.

  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

Pay Range

For Poland based positions, Annual Salary Range: 258 400 - 323 000
