The University of Chicago's Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science seeks Clinical Associates in Optometry at 100% effort for renewable terms of up to two years. The appointees will provide patient care in the area of optometry. The appointees will join a vibrant optometric team, as well as a distinguished community of colleagues and learners at UChicago Medicine, the Biological Sciences Division, the Pritzker School of Medicine, and the University of Chicago and its affiliates. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) is dependent on qualifications.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have an optometric doctorate and 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois.
We especially welcome candidates who will have completed an optometric residency by the time of the appointment.
