
The University of Chicago’s Department of Surgery, Section of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy, is searching for full-time Clinical Associates at 100% effort for renewable terms of up to three years. This position will be based primarily in community offsites (expected practice in Northwest Indiana, Mount Sinai Hospital, or other locations as needed) and may require activity at other affiliate locations. Clinical responsibilities will include a comprehensive vascular surgery clinical practice. Appointees should have a strong interest and expected career trajectory in vascular surgery and community-based practice. These positions do not require teaching or scholarly activity. Compensation is dependent upon qualifications.

The University of Chicago Heart & Vascular Center has nationally recognized research and education programs that build on collaborations throughout the University and is active in clinical operations and quality improvement in the Medical Center.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois and the State of Indiana, 3) be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Surgery or the foreign equivalent, and 4) have completed a fellowship in Vascular Surgery.
